COST: $5 per person (to be collected on the day)
I will meet you near the toilet block at the car park on Fairfield Park Drive. (near the entrance to Fairfield boathouse)
Fairfield boathouse is an historical landmark which is over 100 years old.
We will start our walk from Fairfield boathouse and walk along the trail to Studley Park Boat house, where we will take a detour along the road and continue the last stretch to Abbottsford Convent.
On the convent grounds, we will enjoying our picnic. There is a bakery for those who wish to purchase their lunch. (however it is preferable the group stay together and eat.)
If time permitted - we may get an opportunity to wander around the convent buildings or grounds before we return back to Fairfield Boathouse.
Back at the boathouse, you may even be tempted to stay at the boathouse for their famous Devonshire teas (scones, cream and tea or coffee) before heading home

Face marks are no longer required when you are outdoors and where it is possible to stay more than 1.5 metres away from people. The use of face masks remains madatory if you are unable to stay further than 1.5metres away from people not in your household. You musta carry a face mask at all times, unless you have a medical letter from your doctor excluding you from wearing a face mask.
Everyone must still adhere to the government COVID-19 rules for social distancing, hand hygiene, traveling together, and mask-wearing.

My intention is to keep the spirit of the Camino alive within our hearts, and they are a great opportunity to get to know each other, share our Camino stories and hopefully inspire others to embark on their own pilgrimage to Santiago de Composela. - Joanne Cashman
